By accessing and using bxss.io ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

bxss.io is an open-source blind XSS detection platform that allows users to test for cross-site scripting vulnerabilities using their own Cloudflare D1 database (BYOD model).

User Responsibilities

As a user of bxss.io, you agree to:

• Authorized Testing Only: Only test systems and applications where you have explicit permission to conduct security testing
• Legal Compliance: Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations
• Ethical Use: Use the Service ethically and responsibly, respecting the rights and privacy of others
• No Malicious Activity: Not use the Service for any malicious, harmful, or illegal purposes
• Account Security: Maintain the security of your account credentials and database configuration

Prohibited Activities

You are expressly prohibited from:

• Testing systems without proper authorization
• Using the Service to harm, harass, or exploit others
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
• Distributing malware or malicious code
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfering with or disrupting the Service or servers

Data and Privacy

Your Data, Your Control:

• All vulnerability data is stored in your own Cloudflare D1 database
• We do not have access to your test results or vulnerability information
• You are solely responsible for securing and managing your database
• You retain all rights to your data

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of any information obtained through the Service

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, bxss.io and its operators shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or use
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to systems
• Any damages resulting from misuse of the Service

You assume all responsibility and risk for your use of the Service.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless bxss.io and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason
• Remove any content that violates these Terms
• Report illegal activities to appropriate authorities

Open Source

bxss.io is open-source software released under the MIT License. The source code is available on GitHub. Contributions and modifications are subject to the terms of the MIT License.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
